Uploders and Dippers

Liz and Don Moxom welcome you to their home in the beautiful West Dorset village of Uploders in the Dorset ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.

Uploders lies in the Asker valley under the spectacular hill-fort of Eggardon, and is just two miles from Dorset’s ‘Jurassic Coast’. There are many other interesting places within easy travelling distance of Dippers. Take a look at our places to visit page for further information.

Dippers has three letting rooms, one with private bathroom and two en-suite.
There are two doubles and one twin bedded room. The ground floor en-suite room has wheel chair access.

Facilities in the rooms include tea/coffee making, TV and access to a fridge, which will provide fresh milk and bottled water.

Our dining room overlooks the garden, which descends to the River Asker and we hope you will have time to enjoy it.

We source all our food locally and are pleased to offer eggs from our own chickens and honey from our own hives.

Whether you are continuing your journey or staying with us we would like to assist you with a packed lunch

The nearby Crown Inn in Uploders does excellent meals. You could also take a footpath walk to other good eating pubs. Taking the car you are within easy reach of Bridport town and West Bay, and the villages of Shipton Gorge and Burton Bradstock where fish caught locally is a speciality.

 The room with private bath is £70 per night. An en suite room is £65. Rates are reduced for a stay of two or more nights. There are special rates for autumn, winter and spring stays

We welcome dogs and provide luxurious accommodation for them, but not in the rooms!
